Privacy Policy

Account data: name, email address, password (stored hashed by our authentication provider) and account type (brand or creator).

Profile data: display name, bio, niches, profile photo, portfolio videos, package pricing and delivery times.

Order data: briefs, shipping addresses, tracking numbers, delivered content and messages exchanged between brands and creators.

Payment data: payment and payout records. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe — Folio never stores full card numbers.

Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, and usage logs used to keep the service secure.

To create and secure your account, run bookings and escrow payments, deliver content between parties, send transactional email about your orders, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Performance of a contract (running your bookings), legitimate interests (platform security, service improvement), legal obligation (tax and accounting records) and consent where required for marketing.

We share the minimum data necessary with the processors that run the platform: Stripe (payments and creator payouts), our hosting and database provider, and our transactional email provider. A creator's shipping address is shared with the brand on a paid order so the product can be sent; a brand's brief is shared with the booked creator. We never sell personal data.

Account and order records are kept while your account is active and for up to six years afterwards where financial records require it. Delivered content is retained for as long as the order remains accessible in your dashboard.

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us and we will respond within one month. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
